Work has now begun on refurbishing the Shower Block and Toilets in the Men's Changing Rooms. Work is expected to take around 12 weeks from start to finish. We're sad to report the death of former West Bradford member Mrs Jean Umpleby Jean was a former West Bradford Captain and Lady President, she became Lady Captain in 1984 and then served as Lady President in 2001. Jean passed away peacefully on the evening of Saturday 24th February. Funeral details will follow.   [...]

Course Moves to "Carry Only". The Course has moved from "Carry if you can" to a "Carry Only, No Exceptions." instruction, as a result of the wet ground conditions. Sunday's Swindle competition will be Carry Only as a result.

West Bradford's temporary toilet block has arrived. Work will begin very shortly on new toilets and showers for the Men's changing rooms. Whilst the work is ongoing, temporary facilities will be installed in the car park. The new temporary facilities have arrived, but are not open just yet. [...]

Earthquaking of West Bradford's Fairways Continues. The fairways on holes 1, 2, 8, 10, 12, 13, 16 and 18 have all been completed - with the 3rd expected to be completed by the end of today. The work will continue on for the rest of the week.

The Earthquaking work mentioned in the newsletter will start this week. The Earthquaking of West Bradford's Fairways will start tomorrow (Tuesday 30th January) at 8am. Apologies to members for any inconvenience caused by this essential maintenance work.

Unfortunately the Practice Bay and Practice Nets have had to be closed today.The structure of the bay has been damaged in the high winds brought by Storm Jocelyn.Please avoid the area entirely, especially whilst winds remain high.
