The Celebration of Life of former West Bradford Member Jean Umpleby has been announced. It will be at Bingley St Ives Golf Club on Wednesday 13th March at 2pm.

Members may have spotted on Social Media that we have now recovered the Snooker Table in the Members Games Room. The table bed has been renewed, a new baize has been fitted and temporary cushions have been added whilst the originals are taken away to be refurbished. We'll also be getting new snooker [...]

The work on the Men's Shower and Toilet facilities continues. The strip out of old materials looks very close to complete, an old door, behind the panels of the men's urinals has been uncovered. The door would have led into what is now the General Office. [...]

A little bit of history has been uncovered in the Men's Changing Room Showers.A small wooden plaque behind one of the walls showing that current West Bradford member Ian "Batman" Bateman was the last person to refit the showers back in August and September 1999 - twenty five years ago!

Work has now begun on refurbishing the Shower Block and Toilets in the Men's Changing Rooms. Work is expected to take around 12 weeks from start to finish. The showers and toilets in the Men's changing rooms have been closed off and are innaccessible to members as of this morning. In the meantime [...]

We're sad to report the death of former West Bradford member Mrs Jean Umpleby Jean was a former West Bradford Captain and Lady President, she became Lady Captain in 1984 and then served as Lady President in 2001. Jean passed away peacefully on the evening of Saturday 24th February. Funeral details will follow.   [...]

Course Moves to "Carry Only". The Course has moved from "Carry if you can" to a "Carry Only, No Exceptions." instruction, as a result of the wet ground conditions. Sunday's Swindle competition will be Carry Only as a result.

West Bradford's temporary toilet block has arrived. Work will begin very shortly on new toilets and showers for the Men's changing rooms. Whilst the work is ongoing, temporary facilities will be installed in the car park. The new temporary facilities have arrived, but are not open just yet. [...]
