Work has now begun on refurbishing the Shower Block and Toilets in the Men's Changing Rooms. Work is expected to take around 12 weeks from start to finish.
The showers and toilets in the Men's changing rooms have been closed off and are innaccessible to members as of this morning. In the meantime members should use either the temporary toilet block in the car park or the men's toilets in the clubhouse lounge.
A skip has been placed at the rear of the building whilst the old fittings are being stripped out and a temporary door has been made in the wall at the side, leading directly in to the shower area. This new doorway has been made from the old windows, and will be turned back into windows once the work has been completed. Once work has finished members will have a brand new, fully tiled shower area and new toilet and sink facilities.
