It was The Annual Dinner on Friday 8th November.

Attendees enjoyed a 4-course meal of a fishcake and spring roll for starter, roast topside of beef, a hazelnut & chocolate roulade followed by a generous cheese board. Following the meal and speeches, the major prize winners were awarded their trophies.

There were a couple of multiple prize winners collecting trophies on the night. John Curry, who joined the club in August last year, collected the Annual Medal 3rd Division trophy along with the Captain’s Trophy. Twenty four year old Alex Brooke, who joined us in March this year, took home both the Annual Medal Division 1 trophy and the Annual Stableford Division 1 trophy.

Gold Cup winner Gary Hallett made the final speech of the night, reminding Club Manager Damian Connearn that he had pledged to “….get his name on that honours board…” – during a tour of the club back in March 2020, when Gary was considering joining the club, and that he had now achieved that aim. Gary also praised Nigel and the Greens Team for producing a fantastic golf course and Andy and The Clubhouse team for their hard work over the year.
