The work on the Men's Shower and Toilet facilities continues. The strip out of old materials looks very close to complete, an old door, behind the panels of the men's urinals has been uncovered. The door would have led into what is now the General Office. [...]
A little bit of history has been uncovered in the Men's Changing Room Showers.A small wooden plaque behind one of the walls showing that current West Bradford member Ian "Batman" Bateman was the last person to refit the showers back in August and September 1999 - twenty five years ago!
Work has now begun on refurbishing the Shower Block and Toilets in the Men's Changing Rooms. Work is expected to take around 12 weeks from start to finish. The showers and toilets in the Men's changing rooms have been closed off and are innaccessible to members as of this morning. In the meantime [...]
We're sad to report the death of former West Bradford member Mrs Jean Umpleby Jean was a former West Bradford Captain and Lady President, she became Lady Captain in 1984 and then served as Lady President in 2001. Jean passed away peacefully on the evening of Saturday 24th February. Funeral details will follow. [...]
Course Moves to "Carry Only". The Course has moved from "Carry if you can" to a "Carry Only, No Exceptions." instruction, as a result of the wet ground conditions. Sunday's Swindle competition will be Carry Only as a result.

Earthquaking of West Bradford's Fairways Continues. The fairways on holes 1, 2, 8, 10, 12, 13, 16 and 18 have all been completed - with the 3rd expected to be completed by the end of today. The work will continue on for the rest of the week.
