As we get older we would like to think that we got wiser!

Generally true, but not when playing golf as Pete Bower discovered when playing through the trees on the 10th. We all know that there’s always a shot through that 6 inch gap and we all think we can make it, just like Pete!

Action replay.......Ball aatnicely, nice smooth swing, great connection, but direction slightly out and ouch as the ball rebounds off the tree and smack in the middle of Pete’s forehead!

Fortunately, he has only suffered bruising and the usual ribbing from his golfing buddies, but hopefully a golfing lesson learned.

Take your punishment and chip out safely!

As if that senior moment wasn’t enough for one week, in trots Colin Pitman with an even bigger and better shiner as per the attached photo.

His injury is not golf related, but happened at home in his bed with his lovely lady Molly in attendance! Colin says he slipped out it bedand hit his head on the bedside drawers.

Clearly we all believe him ????

Speedy recovery to both ❤️❤️
