It’s certainly proving to be a unprecedented start to the seniors golfing calendar as both teams remain unbeaten!

 

Game 7 marks the halfway stage for the Lawrence Batley lads who have experienced one of their best ever starts after 4 wins and 2 draws from their opening 6 games!

 

Today’s away encounter at table toppers Huddersfield was undoubtedly to be their toughest test of the season, especially given they had won both of their opening home games by 8-0.

 

Speaking to one or two of the West Bradford team during the week you could sense an air of quiet confidence and so it proved with Colin Green’s lads doing the club proud with a hard fought 4-4 draw!

 

After yesterday’s fifth win in five from Andrew Haigh’s ‘Friendlies Team’ and Colin’s unbeaten in 7 it’s certainly a weekend to celebrate!

Well done to both teams in representing the club with some quality golf .
