Colin Green has no doubt had to think long and hard as to his team to play in this Friday’s semi final against Blackley GC, especially given the positive contribution from all his squad this year.

However, it’s a no brainer given the outstanding 8-0 victory in last Friday’s quarter finals over Crow Nest Park GC and as they say never change a winning team, so it’s a case of as you were for this week’s starting line up as follows;

Please note: The match was due to be played at a neutral venue at Worsley Golf Club, but thankfully eagle eyed Colin raised a query that Blackley had already played at Worsley this year in the league and this would be a breach of the rules.

The rules state that the play offs have to be played at a neutral venue, which excludes any course that a team have played a league match at in the present season. Consequently, the Lawrence Batley league have decided that the semi final will now take place play at Crows Nest Park GC, where neither team has played and not Worsley GC.

First tee off time will be 11:30 and any support would be most welcome.
