Week 10 saw the halfway stage of the Senior Captain’s Cup completed and club skipper Chris McLaren join in despite his weekend exertions!!

A medal round saw a new tournament leader emerge in Alan Evans after his nett 68. Alan leads ‘veteran’ and last winner Colin Pitman (73) by just 4 points with Steve Crawshaw also scoring 68, a further point back in 3rd.

Ian Lightbody took the spoils on the day for the second time this season with an impressive net 66 to quietly move in to 6th place. The league table is below.

Please note that the results reflect a slight change to the previous format used for converting medal to stableford. The revised system uses nett par 69 scores being equivalent to 36 points, 68 = 37 points, 70 = 35 points etc etc. Any queries please ask.
