Week 14 of the Senior Captain’s Cup 🏆 saw ‘Super Senior’ Steve Warner being the only player to beat par with his 37 points, which pushed him in to 3rd place on the SCC leaderboard.

Reigning champion Steve Crawshaw has clearly not given up his crown 🤴🏻 as he came in 2nd on the day with 36 edging out ever improving Les Cooper on countback.

Highlight of the day had to be the ‘hole in one’ at the 5th hole by rookie Wynn Parry, especially after searching long and hard for nearly 3 minutes in the rough at the back of the green only to discover the ball in the hole!!
Sadly it was Wynn’s provisional, but nevertheless a hole in one of sorts and with a gross score of 3 for nett 1 and 4 points! 🙄

Despite the efforts of the chasing pack, Paul Winter is proving a tough nut to topple off his perch in top spot in the SCC table with 299 points from his best 8, which is an amazing average of over 37! Paul leads by a comfortable looking 10 points ahead of 2nd place Ian Peirson on 289 with the next 4 players separated by just 2 points! 😬
With 4 weeks remaining it’s certainly game on for everyone with all top 10 places still up for grabs. 🏌🏻‍♂️
