It’s a big well done to ‘Super Senior’ and soon to be an octogenarian Bob Helley , who rolled back the years in impressive style to show there’s life in the old dog as he notched top score of the day with 41 points in week 5 of the Senior Captain’s Cup (SCC). 👏🏻 He might be desperately in need of a haircut 💇🏼‍♂️ but he must still be able to see through those grey curls! 😉
Another excellent turnout in perfect golfing weather was matched with some other notable scores with John Dutton maintaining his recent good form with a 2nd place 40 points followed by Ian Peirson in 3rd.
Tournament leader with a long way to go is hot shot Ray Hawley who leads on 144 points over his buddy Ian Peirson by 2 points closely followed by Roy Baker and John Dutton both on 139. Best 8 scores from 18 will determine the winner.
Next Monday 29 June is week 5 and all members over 55 are eligible to enter by sending their name to Seniors Captain Andrew Haigh by email or text NO LATER THAN 3PM ON FRIDAY
