Thought I would pass on the latest health update on some of our missing seniors.

PAUL WINTER

Paul is waiting to see a specialist as he can’t move his shoulder at the moment as it’s very painful. As you can imagine it’s very frustrating particularly as he thought he was almost ready to come back at the beginning of April. He had just played 18 holes with no problem and then the following morning woke up unable to move it and in a lot of pain. It’s been like that now for nearly six weeks and he is really fed up.
He sends his best wishes to everyone.

PETE BOWER

Pete has had hernia repair 3 weeks ago and advised not to restart golf until after seeing the surgeon on 21st. He is hoping to get down some Monday or Wednesday to see everyone.

JOHN WALKER

John was scheduled for an operation in December but seemingly the NHS is currently dealing with September appointments so hopefully he will be in the queue to be treated very soon.

ALAN RICHARDSON

Alan is a past Seniors Captain who no longer played but is a social member. Sadly he was admitted to hospital after a fall at home and has been ill with pneumonia. He is currently in BRI Ward 29. On recovery he is expected to go to a convalescent home. More updates as I hear them

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to all
