As we all await the result of today’s crucial Seniors Lawrence Batley quarter final it’s commiserations and congratulations to West Bradford’s Simon Major.

Simon unfortunately lost his individual matchplay semi final yesterday in a very close affair at the 2nd extra hole, to a birdie!

However, the club and Simon should be proud in reaching this stage of the competition, being the first West Bradfordian to have done so. He will be presented with an award from the Lawrence Batley league for winning his division.

The much awaited team result is due any minute so watch this space with fingers crossed
