Todays eagerly awaited match at Hawley Hall did not disappoint . Due to covid we had to miss last years game , which was a shame , but perhaps today we made amends . In the end it was a four to one win for us with the result as follows , myself and David Potts won 6 & 5 , Tim Winterburn and Eddie Presland lost 4 & 3 , Les Cooper and Colin Pitman won 1 up , Bob Helley and John Goodyear won 4 & 3 , Eric Reucroft and Roy Baker won 4 & 3 , very well done lads and we look forward to host Hawley at our club in a few weeks time . The course conditions , like our club , were superb with the greens in excellent order . Next up is Woodhall Hills away on 17th June and the team sheet is on the notice board . Before that  , next Monday will be week 8 SCC and there has been , probably due to the great weather ! , some very good scores and the leader board is all so warming up .
