Following on from Andrew Haigh’s blog, which is attached, I am pleased to inform you that the 2020 Senior Captain’s Cup will resume on Monday 1st June. It will be in accordance with golfing social distancing guidelines and as such we have introduced the following measures:
- The competition will run over 18 consecutive Mondays from 1 June till 28 September with the best 8 cumulative scores determining the winner
- Seniors wishing to play will need to submit their name by email or text to Andrew NO LATER THAN 3PM THE FRIDAY BEFORE
- All names will then be randomly drawn for allocation of partner and tee times at 10 minute intervals from the 1st tee
- blank scorecards can be obtained from the pro shop and retained for week 1
- on completion of the round, confirm stableford scores with partner and message total to Pete Leskovac for input
- no money will be taken or paid out on the day, but invoiced still the end of the season
- players will be free to swap tee times with other entrants and single players allowed to mark their own card
- Week 1 will NOT be a handicap qualifier and as such played from yellow tees
- We expect arrangements will be in place from week 2 to be white tees qualifiers
