Given the forecast I reckon a turnout of 12 was not too bad and perhaps reflects the competitive nature amongst our seniors in these crazy times. 🏌🏻‍♂️🏆

Today was WL6 and the halfway stage of the Seniors Winter League, which certainly looks like being another close affair that will go down to the proverbial wire. 😬

Victorious today on his return was Eddie Presland 🥇with an impressive 41 in what were difficult playing conditions for most. A single point behind in 2nd place went to our lowest handicapper in Chris Schofield 🥈, who started the day on 8.7 and finished it on 8.3 👌🏻
The only other player to achieve par with 36 points in 3rd place was my buddy John Dutton 🥉who did very well to finish so well up as he struggled to walk the last few holes due to a bad back! 👨🏼‍🦯😉

We eventually have a new tournament leader in ‘Super Senior’ Bob Helley as he takes over top spot 🔝from John Goodyear by one point, with Paul Winter sneaking up quietly in 3rd place.
Bob will be able to smugly enjoy the festive season as he sits proudly at the top of the table 🤗 as next Monday 28 December is the Team League, which uses the same Monday WL handicaps as attached together with table and scores, which are all viewable on the Seniors Members page.
