Week 9 of the Seniors Winter League was certainly an eventful one especially in the heavy gusty winds, which no doubt had an effect on the stray ball that hit John Goodyear whilst on the 8th tee!
Thankfully John is fully on the mend and will be back playing, but with a Dunlop imprint so please don’t laugh!
As a result 6 players did not finish, but those that did saw Pete Leskovac top score with 42 points and a 1.2 shot pull! Colin Pitman came in 2nd with 36 followed by Maurice Tillotson, Richard Adams and Andrew Haigh on 35 points.
Holiday boy Alan Greenwood still leads the competition from Ian Peirson with 3 more weeks to go so there’s plenty to play for.
